Idiosyncratic

i got alot of things to complain about today ar...but i better dun say it...cuz the net is a VERY unsafe place. maybe the correct term is not "complain" la, but it's more of describing and critique-ing('criticise' is not a good word to use). was at the bugis, bras basah area for dinner with my family today. but before that, my mother was going to meet her client at bugis to sign some stuff. so i splitted paths with my parents and went to walk about bugis. but because i went bugis only just last week, the things there like nothing fresh. so after walking about, say, 15mins, around the usual places that i go(i.e. kino and the comic and toy shop beside it). nothing nice to do already. so, i decided to walk around the shopping complex aimlessly like a zombie.

actually, i noticed that when people go shopping, they have different styles of walking.(quite 'duh' actually)

first, there is the kind who will walk with a group of pple, ok la, this one is the most common. i shall call this the clique method(CM). the cm is much safer since the saying goes 'there is safety in numbers'. however, there is more to this method. that is the type of group that u are in. there can be the yaya yuppy office worker clique, the samasama school uniform(or youngsters) clique, the family clique etc etc. i especially detest the first clique. maybe detest is too strong a word. but i dun like them. cuz of their yaya-ness. ya lor, they think that they wear branded stuff and have credit cards can yaya their way around the shopping centre. sometimes their perfumes stink also, i shall explain why, perfumes, which are nice smelling substances can stink. imagine u got one whole group of yuppies coming towards u, male and female also got. each one spray their own brand of perfume(THICKLY). i am not exaggerating, this is extremely common among singaporean yuppies. the mixture of the assorted perfumes will give rise to a scent so nice smelling, so sweet that it is actually nauseating. (just imagine swimming in a pool made up of perfume liquid). ok, maybe i am just jealous cuz i do not earn as much money as them. but even if i do, i won't be like that...ha. most irritating is that most of them(cannot say all of them cuz by doing that i will be generalising), have the haolian face. for the unacquainted, it is the look being achieved when u tilt ur head about 30 degrees upwards and having ur eyes look slightly to the ground(u dun need to worry about how to position ur eyes, by tilting ur head ur eyes will automatically achieve the look. dun believe can try).

ok, this concludes the 'clique' segment.

next, there is the couple shoppers...haha. this is most funny. after walking around bugis junction about 4 times while waiting fore my mother's appoinment to end, i noticed that most couples are of the same kind one or either the one them is CMI(cannot make it) while the other is quite goodloooking.

then the last one. the loner, aka fabian fan tingzhang. hahahhahahha. i do realised that i am the only "shopper" walking alone. so sian lor. see the above groups until so sian. then i decided to 破形象(although i dun really have a 形象), by looking real pissed when walking about. whever pple look at me, i will give them the eye(or diao them). so mean i know, but i was bored. then i pretended to have like a chewing gum in my mouth and chewed and chewed and chewed. then accidently chewed on my tougue. ok, enough of being bo liaoz. ha, fabian 活该.

found this rather ugly photo of myself talking to mr liu kang(during the AEP exhibtion) on this flickr account. haha, the other photos taken in the "eye speak" set of this VS teacher is not bad tho. i like the candid shot of mr lee...ahhaz. i can't remember wad i was thinking when i was snapped. my mouth seems to be in a weird sort of contorted shape. like i am planning to eat up mr LIU TAI GHER for dinner like that, ha. and why is the crutch there?!






























my ugly picture aside, i think i like this picture the most...hehe, also taken by a particular VS teacher whom i dunno.














i feel so insightful telling mr LIU TAI GHER about my artwork...hehehe.

ok, kudos to the vs teacher who took the brilliant photos and i must sleep liaoz...

ps: in case u are wondering why LIU TAI GHER is in caps, that is because before that, i wrote liu kang instead. that's his dad that has already passed away, and a rather famous pioneer artist btw. argh...too much art history affects ur thoughts
