Random thoughts over the week

i may consider to add this as a weekly feature, to sum up the stuff that has been happening to me or the stuff that i ponder about over the week. it's kind of like those "highlights" for the day you see in channel 5's 9.30 news...haha.

the weather is finally experiencing a turn of events. it's cold...yes...singapore is finally begining to feel cold...that is when it rains. i love this kind of weather, but not the rain tho...

"care for soldiers". i guess SAF really does mean wad they say. for the unacquainted, "care for soldiers" is one of the SAF's 7 core values that we recruits(former) had to yell before having our water parade. i am now enjoying the large pack of famous amos's pecan and chocolate chip cookies that the 2 sgts bought. haha...house visits = free gifts...lol.

forget abt art friend, there's corel painter. the single program that has all the art products that art friend has...eg. acrylics, oils, water colour, pastels, gouache...you name it, it has it! yeah, this week i am probably most fascinated by the prospects of creating digital pictures using the graphic tablet and this programe. but i need time to hone my skills first. haha...i still aspire to be like don seegmiller or ryan church. i went to kino to search for corel painter related art books...i guess wad, i only found 2 books. yes, big big kino only stocks 2 painter books. they should have one of don's books stocked at the graphic section of kino. but no, they dun have. i found those 2 books under the computer section, somemore is not those i wanted. anyway, i read it.

while on the topic of kino, i realised that its rather like a library, u can take any amount of books u want and find a nice reading corner and read all day. my favourite spot in kino is ahfjdhjhdhakhdahfl. yes, i shan't reveal it...haha...but i can give u a clue, it's quite near the Coffee club cafe. it's my favourite spot. yesterday i was there and this guy was occupying it...so i sat at a place about 2 metres away from him. then i read my books lor...then when he left, i immediately lunged over and rooted my huge butt onto the parquet floors of that spot...hmmm...parquet floors, that give u another clue isn't it. anyway, was reading pretty interesting fashion illustration books yesterday while at kino. would love to own those cuz i really like the way they draw. very attitude and got style. guess i will be back there today...hehe. when i go to Mt E for check up.

met up with eunike and yoana yesterday too, cuz i eunike needed my art fren card to buy copic markers for her fren. copic markers...they are something that u buy only 1 or 2 of them, but not 30++ of them in one shot. that's wad eunike bought for her fren(means her fren cared off her to buy la). 30++ of copic markers, i have never seen so many copic markers being bought before...let alone owning them. it totalled up to $196, after a 15% discount with my card.

speaking of art fren discount cards, i realised that yesterday was when my art fren card was really useful. after leaving eunike and yoana, i went back to kino to read books(that's when i went to read the books at my favourite spot). after reading the 6 books that i took. i went up to art fren again. then saw veliani, aep junior. she also needed to get stuff and was delighted that i got my art fren card with me. cuz she can use it for discounts then...hehe. ok, i think my junior batch of AEP pple are really united, abit unlike ours. :(

oh yeah...i guess i can read my harry potter book liaoz. and guess wad, i dun even need to buy it.
